Motorbikes are cost effective and ideally suited to difficult terrain. They allow health workers to reach some of the poorest and most remote communities in Africa. But without the right training they can be dangerous and unreliable.

This gift contributes to the training of a health worker in one of the programmes we support. Nurses and doctors who may never have ridden a bike before will learn how to operate their vehicle safely on all terrain and in all weathers, and how to maintain it so it is reliable.

With the right training health workers can visit communities all year round. They deliver disease prevention like malaria nets and education, check weight and nutrition of babies, deliver blood samples to labs and much more.

About Gifts for Life

You or your loved one will receive a card outlining the value of their gift with a matching envelope.  All our cards are made with recycled paper.

About us

Two Wheels for Life supports programmes that ensure health care reaches some of the poorest and most remote communities in Africa.

The projects we work with are operated by local development partner Riders for Health in Lesotho, Malawi, Nigeria and The Gambia. They focus on the issue of transport for health workers, an essential but neglected aspect of health care in Africa.

We are the official charity of MotoGP™ and it is with the incredible generosity of the racing teams, riders and the motorcycle community that we have been able to create a movement for good in the world of motor sport.
